Terms of Service and Booking Conditions
Terms of Service
1. Nature of the service
This site provides application assistance for the Tibet Travel Permit (the official entry approval letter) and the border pass. We are not a licensing authority and do not act for any government body. Whether an application is accepted, whether it is approved, and when it is approved are decided by the competent authority. We make no promise about the outcome.
The permit and border pass are issued by the competent authority. We neither charge nor collect any government fee. The amount you pay is a service fee for application assistance, covering these human services: checking and normalising your document data, reviewing itinerary and accommodation details, translating and compiling materials, filing the application, following up on progress, notifying you when the permit is issued, and one round of correction assistance. The services included are those listed on the order page.
2. Conditions and documents
Travellers must supply true, accurate and complete document information, with documents valid for the travel dates and names spelled exactly as on the document. The itinerary must name the city and hotel for every night. If an application is returned, delayed or cannot be completed because information is untrue, documents have expired, the itinerary does not match reality, or the description is vague, the traveller bears the resulting consequences.
3. Processing time
Processing times shown on the site are references for ordinary cases and are not a commitment. Actual timing depends on the current workload of the authority, the number of corrections required, and public holidays. Express service shortens acceptance and filing, but does not change the document requirements and does not guarantee any specific issue date.
4. Fees and refunds
1. If you cancel before the application is filed, the service fee is refunded in full.
2. If the competent authority does not approve the application, the service fee is refunded less costs already incurred: translation and compilation of materials, express-channel acceptance, and any filing already completed. Deductions are charged as actually incurred and are itemised with the refund.
3. If the application cannot be completed because information supplied is untrue, documents have expired or the itinerary does not match reality, or if you cancel part-way through, the fee is settled according to the work actually completed.
4. Once the permit has been issued, the work has been performed and a refund is normally not available.
5. Refunds are returned to the original payment account; the time taken to appear depends on the payment channel.
5. Responsibilities
We are responsible for completing the application assistance as agreed and for keeping you informed of progress. Travellers are responsible for supplying true information, providing corrections promptly when asked, and arranging transport, accommodation, insurance and anything else outside the scope of this service.
If force majeure (including natural disasters, road closures, temporary controls or policy changes) affects the trip or the application, neither party is in breach; we will help reschedule or settle for the part not completed.
6. Other
Matters not covered here follow applicable laws and the rules of the competent authority. If these terms are updated, the latest version on this page applies.
