How it works
- Confirm the itinerary: fix entry and exit dates, the cities and route you plan to visit, and whether any border areas are involved.
- Submit online: choose a service item, entry date and number of travellers on this site, enter each traveller's name, document type, document number and nationality, and upload a photo of the document data page.
- Pay online: after payment the order enters the processing queue.
- Review and declaration: a coordinator checks that the materials are complete, then files the declaration; you will be contacted if anything is missing or inconsistent.
- Issue and delivery: once completed, the permit is sent as an electronic file to the email address on the order. Print it in colour and carry it with you.
- Verification on arrival: present the permit together with your original document as arranged by the receiving party.
Materials usually needed
- A clear photo or scan of the passport (or equivalent travel document) data page, valid for the trip.
- A photo of the Chinese visa page where applicable; some cases also require a residence permit or entry record.
- Entry and exit dates, route, and accommodation arrangements.
- Occupation: some cases require this. Requirements may differ for journalists, diplomats and certain other occupations — please answer accurately so it can be checked.
Common reasons for return
Blurred or glare-affected document photos, name spelling that differs from the document, entry dates inconsistent with the itinerary, a missing visa page, or a traveller count that does not match the name list. Check each item before submitting — it noticeably shortens processing.
About originals
The permit is usually delivered as an electronic file that you print in colour yourself; in some cases a paper original may be required and you will be told separately. Do not lend your permit to anyone else — the permit and the traveller's document must match.
